About Baltply
Trusted supply partner for European wood products
A direct bridge between Baltic and Polish mills and the UK and EU construction industry.
Our story
Ten years of trading timber
Baltply was built around one observation: contractors and merchants in the UK and Ireland were paying for layers of intermediaries between them and the mills producing their timber — and still had no visibility on grade, batch or lead time.
For more than ten years we have traded directly with producers across the Baltic states and Poland. We speak the mills' language, we know which plant runs which grade well, and we book haulage ourselves so material arrives on site rather than sitting in a depot.
Today we supply Shou Sugi Ban charred cladding as the appointed UK and Ireland partner of Reburnent Pro, alongside birch plywood, C24 structural timber, engineered wood, OSB and CLT. Germany and the Netherlands are our next markets.

Sustainability
Four pillars
Certified forestry
We buy from FSC® and PEFC certified mills and pass the chain-of-custody documentation through to the client on every consignment.
Short supply chains
Sourcing from the Baltics and Poland keeps transport distances to northern Europe short and lets us trace material back to the producing mill.
Material efficiency
Cutting lists, fixed lengths and cut-to-size panels are agreed with the mill so off-cuts stay in the factory, not in a site skip.
Long-term mill relationships
The same producers year after year — that is what makes batch consistency and honest lead times possible.
